The boats serve the same rides, but more quickly and are still used for longer rides along the Preguiças River, such as Vassouras and Barreirinhas. To walk through the village you can do it on foot or on horseback depending on your mood. It is also possible to use 4 × 4 vehicles for these tours, it goes from the taste of each one. The 4 × 4 vehicles are used for any land tours, but more specifically for the more distant ones, such as the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, the lagoons, the Canto do Atins and the transfer to Barreirinhas.

On foot, by boat, boat, galloping or by car, Jurará takes care of all your tours and transfers around the region. R-1A – Lagoa da Esperança / Lagoa Azul / Atins
Walk from the Atins to Lagoa da Esperança through the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, passing through several lagoons, including the Lagoa Azul and return to the Atins in the afternoon. Hiking Level: Medium.
Total length of hike: Approx. 8 hours

R-2A – Atins – Lower Great – Queimada dos Britos – Santo Amaro
The most sought after and most accomplished route has two stages depart from the Atins in the morning bound for the Lower Great and overnight in the village.
Duration: Approx: 6 to 8 hours.
The next morning, departure from Baixa Grande to Queimada dos Britos and overnight.
Duration: 2 to 3 hours.
On the last day, we left Queimada dos Britos at Santo Amaro.
Duration: Approx. 4 to 5 hours.
The whole walk is made in the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park. You can walk from 8 to 10 hours on the first day and spend the night in Queimada dos Britos. It is at the discretion of the client and his physical disposition.

There are some schools that in addition to offering lessons for beginners also rent equipment, and offer day care if you bring your kite. If you already practice Kite or want to learn, with your equipment or renting here, be sure to include the Atins in your next travel plans.

Arriving in Barreirinhas you get access to the Atins de voadeira or 4 × 4 vehicle, but be warned, you should book this transfer in advance, otherwise you may not find transportation available at the time of your arrival or have to charter one exclusively for your trip, the which will be much more expensive than the conventional tour or line.

You can arrive in São Luís, visit the Atins and the Lençóis Maranhenses in the first stage of the route, then go to Parnaíba in Piauí and get to know the Delta of Paranaíba and region, then leave for the last stage in Jericoacoara. Part of the route is made by asphalt and partly by dunes, dirt roads and beaches. The trip itself is a great ride and a delightful adventure through the most exotic places on this route. You need at least 8 to 10 days to make this route with tranquility and comfort, counting on your arrival by São Luís and departure for Fortaleza or Jericoacoara that now have airport and regular flights to São Paulo, Recife, Belo Horizonte and Curitiba . Jurará picks you up at São Luís airport and leaves you at Fortaleza or Jeri airport. The route can also be done in reverse, you decide.

By Piaui – coming from other states
For those who come by own or chartered vehicle, arriving by Piaui via Tutóia and Paulino Neves, you can reach the Atins in two ways. Go to Caburé leave the car there and catch a boat that will take you to the Atins. are 15 minutes of crossing. The other way is from Paulino Neves go up to Barreirinhas, cross by ferry the river sloths and catch the trail to the Atins. But attention, for this route you need a guide. At least in the Barreirinhas-Atins stretch. From Paulino Neves the whole trip lasts around 2:30 to 3:00 p.m.
You can also leave your vehicle in Barreirinhas, which is advisable, to spend the night in the city and the following morning to follow trip to the Atins of motorboat making the walk by the river sloths.
